Description
Mark Gatiss' original Target novelisation of The Crimson Horror from 1978! As Target afficionados will no doubt have spotted, this is based on Jeff Cummins' incredible cover for Horror Of Fang Rock, which you can find here: www.personal.leeds.ac.uk/~ecl6… . It's a properly iconic image of Tom Baker with the coil of rope and bowler hat (not even worn in the story, but it works so well!) I've been meaning to do this ever since Season 7 came out.

Done entirely in Photoshop Elements, with a Bamboo tablet.
UPDATE: I've done some major remastering of this as I'm planning on doing prints of my Target covers. The original was a bit flat, I thought, so I added some more details to Matt's face and some more ambient colouring.

Ah, I've fond memories of reading The Horror of Fang Rock as a child - many, many times. The days before even the VHS releases, when books were how we relived television and film. Fantastic work on all of these, I really am blown away by your talent and every book cover has brought a smile to my face after a long day, so thank you for that
